WingRadio — Tap to Talk
Every active Leader or Rider can tap TAP TO TALK once, prepare for one second, and speak for approximately five seconds. Recording stops and sends automatically to the other participants in the same Ride ID, who hear it automatically. See how WingRadio works and read about microphone use and temporary voice storage.
Realtime group ride visibility
During an active ride, riders in the same ride can see shared ride context such as rider position and movement information, depending on device signal and app availability.
Leader and rider coordination
The app supports coordination between ride leaders and riders so the group can respond to route changes, spacing, stops, and regrouping needs.
Formation awareness
WingRadar can help riders understand relative squad placement during active rides. It does not replace mirrors, signals, direct observation, or safe riding judgment.
Squad status
Ride participants may share basic status information such as heartbeat, availability, speed, and ride connection state so the group can identify issues more quickly.
Active ride-only location sharing
Location sharing is designed for active rides only. WingRadar does not claim hidden tracking, background tracking after a ride ends, or sharing outside the same ride group.
Ride codes for creating and joining rides
Riders can create or join ride sessions using ride codes so only intended participants can enter the active ride session.
Exit Ride, End Ride, and leadership transfer controls
WingRadar supports controls for leaving a ride, ending a ride as the leader, and transferring leadership when the ride flow requires it.
Metric display support for KM/H and MPH
Riders can use speed display preferences that fit their region, including kilometers per hour and miles per hour where supported by the app.
Safety-first ride coordination
WingRadar assists coordination only. Riders must follow traffic laws, avoid interacting with the phone while riding or driving, and stay aware of the road at all times.
Battery and GPS reliability guidance
GPS, network coverage, battery settings, and device permissions can affect ride visibility. WingRadar does not replace rider awareness, direct observation, or safe riding judgment.
